No Legal Degree Needed To Read Town of Tuxedo Ethics Code

Apparently, the Town of Tuxedo’s Ethics Code is being misinterpreted. In a letter dated April 26th, 2010, Town Attorney Don Nichol states that “no ethical requirement has been breached…” in a round-trip, private jet junket to Florida.

The Related Companies Flew Two Tuxedo Town Board Members to Florida on Corporate Jet

At the Tuxedo Town Board Meeting on Monday, March 22nd, 2010, Town Supervisor, Peter Dolan, and Town Council Member, Lisa Spivak, admitted they flew to Florida on a corporate jet owned by The Related Companies.

They visited multiple smart code developments in the Florida Panhandle, and were flown home from Florida later that same day.
